{WordPress Wednesdays!} Pages

Pages are great for organizing your blog.  You can create pages that hold anywhere from contact information to events and what ever else you can possibly think of.  So, how do you do that?  It’s actually as simple as making a blog post.

Start by hovering over your blog name in the top left corner, hovering over New, then clicking on Page.

Once on the new Page, add your title and content.  You can make it what ever you want.

When you have finished, click Publish and your new page will be live.  It should show up automatically on your blog once you push publish unless you have a custom menu in place.  If that is the case, you can easily add it to your custom menu.  To find out more about custom menus or if you need a refresh on how to add something to your custom menu, head on over to my post that covers all that is Custom Menus.

  1. thank you!! I may not need you anymore now that you made this post 😉 just kidding…i’m totally still a great newbie at this. I would like to promote people on my page that dont have a button…how is that done?
