A Recap of My Week

This week has been full of me constantly working.  Working, reading, and yes, more working.  I don’t mind it though.  I love my job as a virtual assistant and I love creating things.  If I haven’t been doing my work as a VA, I’ve been working on my own stuff.  This week, I’ve kinda felt like…

I think it’s mostly because of the crazy Ohio weather (gotta love it – NOT) and the water in my building not co-operating, which makes cleaning difficult.  Hopefully, after the three days they spent working on our water heating system, it’s finally done and dealt with and I won’t have to turn on the water wondering if I’ll either have water running or hot water.

I’ve had a lot of company this week and for that I am grateful.  I love working from home, but I don’t get as much socialization as I used to, though I’m planning to work on that.  I’ve had the pleasure of seeing 3 of my friends and spending some much needed time with my boyfriend, so I’m pretty happy about that.  Even though what brought my friends and I together wasn’t necessarily great reasons, we still made the best of bad, snowy situations.  Have I mentioned that I’m sick of snow?  Because I’m sick of snow.  Come on, spring!  At least I managed to snag a couple of geocaches with one of my friends on Monday. It was in the 50’s on Monday and Tuesday only to dip down to the 30’s on Wednesday for a snow storm.

Throughout the week, I’ve been working on my websites by giving them fresh updates.  My Virtual Assistance site has a fresh new look as does this one!  I’ve been posting some new book reviews over on Written Words, Reading Kuu as well.  I’ve also been working on some new items for the shop which will start making appearances this weekend.  Throughout the week I’ve been reading Vampir by John Reinhard Dizon.  All in all, I’ve kept busy.  Oh, and I was reminded today why I am not a graphic designer.  Let’s just leave it at that.

Tomorrow’s supposed to be in the 50’s, so I plan on enjoying at least some of my day outside and other parts of my day with the sliding glass door open while I work and get some cleaning done.  I’m so excited for warmer days!  What are you doing to prepare for spring?
