The Past Week or so Has Been Weird…

As most of you may have noticed, I didn’t blog at all last week. Sure, I had planned to, but things just kept happening and it was just a weird week overall.  In fact, now that it’s Thursday, the weirdness just continued.

Mostly, I was tired and/or working and/or out doing something.  Last weekend, I celebrated my grandmother’s 80th birthday with my family.  Woo!  Monday was a good day.  Lots of odd but good things happened.  Tuesday, I spent the day at a funeral. Not so woo.  Thursday and Friday were a blur.

Saturday, I visited my parents.  Mom and I made more cupcake jars, which will be going up for sale in the shop in the next few days (weather pending).

Then, when I came home, some ick stuff happened.  Mom had given me a salmon wheel for dinner and all I had to do was cook it.  I LOVE salmon wheels.  As I was pulling it out of the oven, the dish slipped from my mittens, burned me, crashed to the floor, shattered into a million pieces therefor ruining my dinner and causing a panic attack.  That right there was no bueno.  After calming down and cleaning up, I tried to at least make and eat the veggies I had planned for dinner and… ended up burning them.  With that, I threw my hands into the air and took at as a sign that I should just order pizza – which I did.

The night was much better after the pizza because then I went to my neighbor’s for a batman themed party which was a lot of fun!  I also need the recipe to the drink she made me because it was soooo awesome!!  Also, if you ever want a good drinking game, watch the Batman movie from 1966.  I want to watch it again. 🙂

Sunday began the feeling of ick.  I wasn’t necessarily sick, I was just feeling… well… ick.  The weather flip-flopping between 50 and 15 degrees makes my sinuses hate me and wish to take revenge!

Other than that, I’ve spent time crafting, creating, filling orders and so on. Also, if you’ve favorited anything in my shop or favorited my shop in general, you’ve received a little surprise. 😉

I made this extremely thin byzantine tree of life necklace for myself, but will be also offering these in the shop and upcoming shows.

I also made a doll necklace fringed with beads.

On that note, I’m going to end this here.  I’m working on some new things for the site and finishing up my renovations, so I’ll be back to posting regularly again and with some new features.  As always, thanks for reading!
