Creating New Designs & Re-Vamping Space

Hello all! These past couple of weeks have been rather busy for me, so I apologize for the delay in posts. I’ve spent a lot of time, in the past couple of weeks, helping my family with some things. When home, I’ve been packing up Christmas stuff and re-vamping my craft space. I was tired of the cluttered debacle that had become known as my craft area, so I figured it was time to upgrade my storage space.

Until this past week, I had been using an old baby changing table/dresser combo as storage.  However, I found out as I cleaned it out that it didn’t hold much – approximately a box’s worth of stuff.  For me, it just wasn’t working out.  So, I acquired some large hardy plastic shelves and re-created my space.  I rather like the look now.  It’s much more clean and organized now, though it may not look it to you, but such is the life of an artist.

Otherwise, I’ve been creating some new designs and new items!  I’ve made several different kinds of hookah jewelry,  some new kinds of stretch bracelets, earrings, and necklaces.  I’ve also been playing with plastic lately.  Yes, plastic.  I do plan to get back to glass and work with some more vinyl as well very soon.

I love how the swirled blow glass beads at the bottom remind me of smoke. :)

I've been wanting to do this for a while. I now offer these fun stretch bracelets! I will gladly do custom colors. :)

Puttin' on the ritz top hat earrings! I was really singing that song the entire time I was working on them. I couldn't help it. :p

Whip it! Whip it good! Yes, this is really a chainmaille whip keychain. I can also do it in custom colors. This is the beginning of a new line I'm calling Sassy. Stay tuned for more!

That’s not everything I’ve been working on, but it’s a glimpse!  As more items are finished and photographed, I’ll be posting those as well.  If you see something you like here that you don’t see in my shop,  just let me know!  As always, I take custom orders. 🙂

Yesterday, I posted a new DIY on Lake County Today!  Don’t miss out and learn how to make some cupcake jars!

On a final note, I changed the look of the blog a bit and spiced up my about section.  With that, I’m off to work on a couple of projects and work on the re-organizing I’m finishing up.  What kind of projects have you been working on in the past couple of weeks?  Thanks for reading and I’ll post again soon!
