On Friday, a friend and I went out geocaching. I love going out and doing this, I get such good exercise and have so much fun with the different challenges that come with it. This time, we went after the first cache I ever went for. We didn’t find it that day, a year ago, and it’s frustrated me ever since. So this time, we found it. It felt so rewarding! It was about a 2 mile walk multi-stage cache, but it was so worth it. 🙂 The last time, we were sooo close!!
While we were there, a deer past just a few feet away from us and we managed to take some pictures. I also love the views from the bridge when ever I’m there. However, there was a little black kitten that followed us around for most of the time we were there. She was such a pretty little black cat and looked about six months old. She was very friendly and loved getting petted and rubbed on us. I felt terrible because I didn’t know where I could even take her. Just as we were leaving, she approached someone else with a dog. I told her that she was a sweet friendly cat that was following us around, but I had no where to take her to, so the lady scooped her up and said she’d take her home. That made us both sooo happy!
While we were looking for the first cache, a few people on the trail walking past us stopped and asked if we were geocaching. We told them yes, and they told us to go check out a near by one when we were done with that one. She said it was extremely cool, clever, and large. So, after we found the multi-cache, we set of for the she recommended. She didn’t lie. That thing was awesome! We were both geeked out about it. So much so that I shot a video of it.
I love seeing what other people come up with!!! This was extremely cool!! We dubbed this the best cache ever for this area, but then again, I’m saying best cache we’ve found so far. 🙂 We also made a few stops in Fairport Harbor and saw this incredible cloud formation turning into a storm over the lake.
Well, that was my Friday of caching. Afterwards, we ended up at Burgers-N-Beer in downtown Willoughby. We had never ate there before, but we had been wanting to try it. I am SO glad we did! They have stuffed burgers. STUFFED. BURGERS. Mine was stuffed with portobello mushrooms and swiss cheese. It was DELICIOUS! I’m hoping to cache again this Friday, but who knows? I guess we’ll see what the day brings. 🙂 Thanks for reading!
