Easter Weekend Was So FUN!!

The past few days have been fantastic! Better than I had even imagined they would be and nothing like I’d expected. I expected a drab weekend of me working on my re-organizing project and then dinner with my parents on Easter. Although I didn’t get much re-organizing done, I did get a little done.

While working on my re-organizing on Friday, I realized how beautiful it was outside. It was in the mid 50’s and I got the itch to go out. I just had to get out and enjoy the weather. So, I got a hold of my friend Aslynn and we went walking and did a little geocaching. We walked around a mile and half to two miles and it was so great! Found two caches and enjoyed the scenery of a pretty cemetery and a park next to it. I haven’t walked like that for a while, so I was extremely sore. Plus, my shoes were shot, so that didn’t help. I still had a great time though! Also manage to get some pictures. πŸ™‚

The next day, mom came over and we went to see Eggshelland. It’s the last year they’re doing it, and it’s very impressive. It’s also very popular. So popular, in fact, that we could only drive by it. We would have had to walk a mile and stand in line to see it for two hours. At least I got a glimpse of it. I’m going to try to see it again this week before they tare it down.

Afterwards, mom and I went shopping at a mall I’ve never been to and found me some new shoes. They are SO comfortable!! New Balance FTW!! They have white bottoms and the rest of the shoes are black with a dark pink N and shoe laces. I’m so happy with them!!! Bring on the walking and hiking!!

After we got back from shopping, she went home and I packed up some stuff to stay over night at my parent’s house and headed out. I stopped at Squire’s Castle and walked around a little bit. I was only there about 20 minutes. Then I headed out to my parents. We went out to dinner and then I relaxed at their place for the rest of the night while I played on my laptop and watched movies.

On Sunday, we went to visit my grandma who lives just south of Youngstown. After we went out to dinner, we drove around a bit and I managed to find two more caches! I would have found a lot more if I had had them stored in my phone. Plus I found some great places to stash some caches myself! With the finds from Friday and the finds from Sunday, I’m now up to a total of eight out of fifty caches to meet my goal for my Fourteen by 2014 list.

Once we got back to my grandma’s, we took some great photographs of us. Mom wanted to use her camera to take the pictures, so we did. Although, I did manage to have my laptop with me so I was sure to snag them off her camera. πŸ™‚ We had sooo much fun! I wish I could post the ones that I convinced them to do YMCA with, but my dad hates the idea of his photo being published anywhere. Oh well. I still respect his wishes to the best of my ability. πŸ™‚

After we got back to my parent’s house, I packed up my stuff and headed over to see Andrea. It’s been a while since we were able to sit down and talk, so we had a very nice visit and a few laughs. πŸ™‚

After I got home, I was EXHAUSTED!!! When I hit the pillow, I hit hard. I hadn’t felt that exhausted in a long long time. I woke up this morning with a horrendous headache, but it’s finally starting to go away tonight. I’ve spent most of my day relaxing. Here’s hoping for a good rest of the week! Have any adventures you’d like to share? Leave me some comments! Thanks for stopping by and reading!
