Weekend Science Fun

I didn’t plan to wait his long to write about my weekend, but it just kinda happened that way. This past weekend was a lot of fun! My friend, Keegan, came to stay the weekend with me. We had a fun weekend and did some science experiments using my microwave I can no longer cook in. Yes, I made some videos. Yes, they will be posted.

Since he had never done anything like this, I figured, why not? First up, I put a CD in the microwave. Disclaimer: For those of you young readers out there, please do not do this in your parent’s microwave without permission. Also, I used my microwave that I use for crafting purposes. In other words, I do not use it to cook food.

There will be more videos in the days to come. I just didn’t want to post them all at once. 🙂 Oh! And a funny video as well! So expect 3 more videos in the coming days! I hope to be doing more and more videos. I have plenty of ideas, I just need to impliment them.

Also this weekend, we made these:

Toothbrush Bracelets!

Toothbrush Bracelets!

Yes, they are really bracelets made from toothbrushes. I’m planning on making more to put up for sale. They’re definitely unique and fun to wear! Surprisingly comfortable.

Sunday night, I ended up having a gathering at my place. I really wasn’t in charge of putting it together, but it was great in the end! Basically, a friend asked me if I’d like to hang out and have people over, I said yes, and he did the rest. Worked for me! Definitely gotta do that again sometime soon. 🙂 I really needed it! Friends, alcohol, pizza, and movies = win!

So that’s about it really. I’m just trying to keep my place clean while I reorganize and go through stuff. At some point in the next week I need to go into my storage locker and get the stuff out of there that I want to sell and get moving on that. Otherwise, I’ve been helping out my family with some stuff and, of course, job hunting. Thanks for stopping by and reading! 🙂
