Saurkraut Balls Recipe!

This is an old family favorite that I just recently learned to make. They’re such a hit, I thought I’d share them with everyone, so here goes!

4 Tbls Butter
1 med onion
1 1/2 # ground beef
garlic salt
5 Tbls flour (heaping)
1/2 c. boulon (2 cubes beef)
3 c. chopped saurkraut.

Brown onion with butter, add meat and garlic salt, brown and cook. Stir in flour and cook a little longer. Add broth and saurkraut. Cook until thick. Cook a couple of hours, then cool. Once cool, roll in flour, eggs and milk mix, and bread crumbs. Fry until golden brown. Serve.

That’s it! It takes a while to cook, but it is definitely worth it in the end!
