Preparing for Christmas

This week I’ve been doing my final preparations for Christmas as well as enjoying myself. Sunday, I finally cooked my 20 pound turkey complete with stuffing and it turned out DELICIOUS!! There is a ton left over (as expected) and I’ve frozen most of it. Yay for turkey for a while! I lurve turkey.

On Monday night, I made some of my yummy Tiny Turtles to take with me Tuesday night to game night. I made as many turtles as there was rolos in the bag and I came home with an empty bowl. Needless to say, they were very much enjoyed by all. I need to make some more for the holiday season.

Wednesday night, I went and picked up the last of my items from Spirit of Clay and I must say, they turned out fantastic!

The rest of my week is going to include friends and family. This weekend, a friend is coming over to spend the weekend and I think we’ll be making some cookies, brownies, and breads. I sure hope so! I’ve been wanting to bake some cookies and bread! It’s been a while. So, here’s hoping for a very fun holiday weekend! How is everyone else preparing for the holidays? Thanks for reading!
