I finally managed to decorate my tree! It’s been up for over a week now with the pre-lit lights on it and I’ve been monitoring my cats’ reaction to it. So far, so good. Last night, I added more lights (colors) and then put on some ornaments. I think it looks great now! The cats still aren’t quite sure what to think, but I think they’ll be okay with it.
I also made my first ever wreath. It now hangs on my door. 🙂
I also re-packed and downsized some things and have moved them into my storage to make more room in my place. I needed somewhere to put my tables for when I do shows, so I made room. Up until now, they’ve been stored at my grandmother’s place, but now it’s like, why? Each time I have a show where I need them, my mom would have to bring them out to me. So this time, they’re staying with me.
My table is also ready for Christmas and I have little decorations all over the apartment. It feels very festive in my little home and I love it! Now to get to my baking! Baking will occur this coming weekend along with the cooking of my 20 pound turkey. A friend is coming to stay the weekend with me, so he’s going to help me bake and enjoy some turkey noms! It will be very fun weekend indeed!
This week will be spent cleaning, finishing up some projects, and (hopefully) making some candies. 🙂 I do love making candies! I have some special stuff in mind, so stay tuned for it! Thanks for stopping by and reading today!
