Creative Exploding, but in a Good Way

Lately, it seems, I’ve been creatively exploding. By this I mean that ideas keep flooding to me and I just keep on acting on them. I haven’t really thought much of them out. It’s like they come to me, fully formed ideas, and then I just do it. I’ve loved it! I haven’t felt this charged in a while! I mean, the spider idea came to me, and bam. I didn’t think much, just started making them. Then there’s just been other ideas constantly coming to me and I’m constantly making them and embracing the ideas. I’m totally loving this!!

Then there’s the fact that last night, I had a gathering at my place. This is the first time this has happened since I lived in Tennessee. Back when I lived in Kansas and Tennessee, I had people over all the time. It was great! I loved having my friends around! But since I’ve moved back to Ohio, that hasn’t happened. Why? I’m not totally sure. Maybe it’s because I felt that I lost some of my mojo or something. Don’t get me wrong – I’ve had people over here and there. I just haven’t had more than a couple people over at a time. So, this was definitely something that I hadn’t done in a long time and I’m glad I did. It was rather impromptu/last minute, but totally worth it in the end. 🙂 I made a lot of home made sloppy joes and we had snacks, drinks, and played some games. It felt so good to have people in the house again. I’ll have to do this move often. 🙂 Thankfully, even though we did get kind of loud, my neighbors didn’t complain. Soooo yeah. Definitely doing this again sometime soon.

In other news, my home is decorated for fall. Maybe it’s not as elaborate as some people go, but for me, it works. 🙂

Now that it’s fall, I’m looking very forward to making some turkey. I loooove baking turkey!! I can make a flavorful turkey that you can carve with a pair of tongs. heeee…. turkey sandwhiches…. mmmm… yep! Definitely looking forward to it! Will probably happen next month.

Speaking of next month, I know this has been mentioned before, but wow… I can’t believe how busy I will be! Just next week alone will be crazy! Along with my usual stuff, I’ll have family in from Tennessee that will be visiting in a couple weeks and next Saturday is also the N.E. Geek Expo (at the Jefferson fairgrounds from 12-8pm Nov. 3rd). This Sunday, I’ll be getting my breaks done as well. I have a lot to prepare for the Geek Expo as well as a few commissions. Oh, and don’t even get me started on all the stuff I need to prep for MFF! I’m still gladly taking commissions, though! I like being busy. 🙂

Also, today, I came across an interesting blog (I like to read blogs) that had a really cool idea. Make a list of 13 things to do before 2013. I only have a couple months left to go, but I think I might do it. If you’re interested, go check out Ink+Adventure to see what she’s doing.

So, that’s it for me. Work, life, creations! Thanks for stopping by and reading today!

  1. There are also a number of additions that can go into a grilled cheese sandwich, like ham, tomato, herbs and spices, or sauces like ketchup or mustard. Some of these will go between the slices of bread before the grilling takes place, and some are sprinkled on the top or used as a dip. Many Canadians enjoy dipping their sandwiches in ketchup or applesauce, while people in the United States tend to prefer their sandwiches with tomato soup or French fries on the side.”
