Booktober!

That’s what seems to be popping into my head this month. Not October, Booktober. Why? Because three books I’ve per-ordered are set to be released this month and I’m super excited for them!!

First one up is Hidden by P.C and Kristin Cast. It’s the latest in the House of Night series that I started reading a few years ago and have been hooked on since. The House of Night series takes place in a world where vampires are no secret. Select teenagers are β€œmarked” during their adolescence with a giant crescent tattoo in the middle of their forehead. If marked, a teenager must go live at the House of Night, a chain of boarding schools that train fledgling vampires and help them make it through The Change. The series begins with Marked when Zoey Redbird is chosen to become a vampire the series follows her through her time at The House of Night in Tulsa, Oklahoma and her destiny to save the world.

Second one is the second book in a three book series called Sapphire Blue. I came across the first book, Ruby Red, by chance in the nook store. It was on sale, sounded intriguing, so I got it. It was a bit predictable, but overall, good! So I’ve been looking forward to Sapphire Blue’s release. All three books have already been released in German, which makes me wish I remembered how to read German. Hahahaha!! Anyway, it’s a mystery about a girl who can travel through time and her and her partner must solve a string of mysteries. I recommend it!

The third book is actually a manga release of Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare. I’ve read the book, it’s sequel: Clockwork Prince and am anxiously waiting the release of the third and final installment: Clockwork Princess. I think it’s awesome that she’s releasing a manga version of the book! I can’t wait to get my hands on it. πŸ™‚ Think victorian/steampunk/supernatural thriller. πŸ˜€

So yeah. Three releases I’ve been waiting for are finally coming out this month! Woo Booktober!! πŸ˜€ Plus, with my nook, I don’t have to wait for them to arrive in the mail or go to the store and hope to get a copy. I just turn it on and bam. There it is on the day it’s released! LOVE MY NOOK!!!! So, anyone else anxiously waiting books this month? If so, what are they?

Thanks for stopping by today!! πŸ˜€
