Well, another month has passed since my last post. Big reason? Making stock. It’s craft fair season and I’ve been getting geared up for my first craft show which is tomorrow. I still have a lot to do tonight – lots of last minute things to finish up and prepare – but in the end, it’ll get done. I’ve been working very hard these past few weeks and have managed to make more items than I ever have in such a short amount of time. There’s a lot of new stuff as well, and they will be making their debut at the show. Don’t worry, I’ll still be taking pictures and posting them on here and all, but none of these things will be available on my site until after the show. I’m so excited! I will have lots of bracelets, necklaces, earrings, pins, magnets, key chains, anklets, record bowls, record clocks, a mardi gras coin belt, and maybe… just maybe… my chainmaille dragon will make an appearance. Yes, I said a chainmaille dragon. I made one. Yes, I will be making more and yes, they will be up for sale. I’m also excited to announce that I now have a drill press. What does this mean? More possibilities and creations!
So, that’s what’s been keeping me busy. I mean, sure. I’ve taken a break here and there. I went to a small rave a couple weeks ago and took some fun pictures while I was there. I’ve also managed to spend some time with friends here and there and do some spring cleaning projects around the house. I’ve also been coming up with more and more ideas of things to make and how: both chainmaille and beyond. Sometime in the coming months, I’ll be making some pillows, so be on the lookout for those! They’ll be super comfy and full of awesome!
I’m also thrilled that the weather is unusually warm for this time of year and am gearing up to start a small herb garden on my balcony. I can’t wait to get my spring on. Hehehe… You may be wondering why I’m so happy about this warm weather. Well, here in Northeast Ohio, we usually still have snow around this time of the year. It’s usually still freezing and snowing and all wintery. However, lately it’s been in the 60′s and 70′s and from what I’ve heard, the warmness is here to stay! Will it probably be sweltering hot this summer? There’s a good chance. Either way, I’m looking forward to my most awesome summer yet full of friends, projects, festivals and events! Oh, not to mention the photography. Granted, I take photos year round, but I love taking photos in warm weather the best. Also, I do plan to post some prints up for sale in the shop in the coming weeks. I’ve been wanting to do so for a while now, and have even had requests from some who have seen and liked them, so they will be available soon enough.
Some of you may be wondering where the Kuucast has been. Well, time got away from me, plus Ali has been unable to join me. However, expect some Kuucasts coming up in the near future. I’m not entirely sure if Ali will be joining me or not in the coming episodes, but she will make appearances here and there at the very least. I know she has some stories to tell of her adventures in New Olreans as well as her over the road travels. So, regardless, the Kuucast will return and continue.
Well, I think that covers about everything I’ve been up to. I’ll be posting another post after the show. Thanks for stopping by today and thanks to those who stick with me even though my blog posts get a little spaced apart here and there.

Since it’s a lazy rainy day and I’m being a bit lazy at the moment, I thought I would turn my laziness into productivity and share with you all some photos I took on an outing the other day. A friend called me up and asked if I’d like to go searching for beach glass with her. It wasn’t the warmest day, but it wasn’t bad. We didn’t, however, anticipate the wind, but as you can see from my first picture up top, we had fun with it.
The first place we stopped was a beach called Walnut Beach. It has an awesome stone break wall which I was happy to get some pictures of. We found a few tiny shells and a few pieces of beach glass, took some fun pictures in the wind, and then left to get something to eat. After we got some quick food, we went to Lakeshore Park. When we parked, we saw a HUGE driftwood tree and just had to go check it out and, of course, climb on it. It had to be at least 50-60 feet long. Unfortunately, our fun was cut short because once again, it started to rain. However, I did get a few nice and fun pictures in before we had to go back to the car. If you care to see more photos than what I’m sharing in this post, you can do so by visiting my Flickr.

If you look in the second photo, you can see just how big the tree is because my friend is actually standing on it in the middle of the tree. Talk about a big driftwood tree!
The same friend I went hunting for beach glass with woke me up the next day and took me out to do what I lovingly call thrifting, which means we went shopping in some thrift stores. It was a blast! Found a few cool items along the way as well. One of them was my awesome new lamp:
Another was my rockin’ new scarf:
Also, I thought I’d post a photo of a commission of the turtle charm bracelet I just finished last night:
If you are ever interested in commissioning me, feel free to send me an email or you can message me on Etsy.
One last thing I thought I’d mention. In my Contact and Other Sites section, I’ve added a contact form to make contacting me easier than ever! So feel free to leave comments or just simply use the new form!
Thanks for stopping by today! Now, go out and have an adventure!
