Today I have added a new section. It’s something I’ve been thinking of adding for a while now and I have finally done it. It’s not all I want to do, but it’s a start. It’s my list. The List – my bucket list. I will be adding more and crossing things off periodically. You can find it at the top of my page and go see it from there. I’ve told many people I have a list, and now anyone can go and see what’s there, what I’ve added, and what I’ve crossed off. I always open to some suggestions as well and who knows? Maybe others will be inspired to make one too. You’re never too young to start (as I’ve been accused of) so jot down a list and start crossing it off! Live life to the fullest!

Now that’s what I call an odd title, am I right? I’m finally getting pictures off my camera from a couple weeks ago, and I thought I would share these sunset photos. A friend of mine has a new roommate and I was showing him a couple of the local parks and, of course, the sunsets over the lake. I couldn’t just go without my camera, though, so of course I took a few pictures and thought I would share them on here.
These are from the lake:

Now for the mannequin portion of this post. I’ve been working on a head piece and will be making more head pieces as well as some hair accessories. I figured it was about time I had a model for such things. So, without further adieu, I would like to introduce you all to my new mannequin head modeling two wigs that I have.
She doesn’t have a name yet and I know I need to comb out the first wig, but there she is, in all her glory. Any suggestions on a name? LOL!
This week hasn’t been overly productive for me. I think I needed a bit of a week off from all the craziness the past two weeks. So, aside from doing a bit of shopping, washing some dishes, running a load of laundry, and making a necklace, I haven’t been overly productive this week. I did, however, manage to watch two movies earlier this week and went to dinner with a couple of friends last night. I finally got around to watching X-Men 1st Class, which I liked and thought it was cool and I also watched Thor, which I also liked. I’m looking forward to seeing The Avengers when it comes into theaters soon. I’m also considering going to watch The Raven. I have always been an Edger Allen Poe fan. Hehe…
So, that’s about it. This weekend is hopefully going to have me cleaning around the house and working on some projects. I have a few different projects started, so here’s hoping that they come to light by the end of the weekend. Also, I hope to have more items photographed and listed up in the shop by the end of the weekend, which will include the necklace I finished this week that I have entitled: Rocky Rhode Blues. I also have an addition to this site in mind, so hopefully that will also be up by the end of the weekend, if not then by the end of next week.
On that note, I’m going to end this post. As usual, thanks for stopping by today!
Hello to all! It’s been nearly a month since my last post, and with good reason. My laptop died. I will not buy another HP again if I can help it. It only lived a year and a half and the motherboard fried. I was sooo not amused by this. Not to mention, compared my last one, this one was treated like gold! So, it took a couple of weeks, but my new laptop finally arrived and it is an ASUS. I already like it a lot better and life is good with it thus far. Many people recommended it to me, so I went with it. I also managed to get a new office chair when I purchased my laptop so I won’t have to worry as much when I sit like I did in my old one. It was just a matter of time before the old one busted completely.
In other news, I attended FCN (Furry Connection North) and had a blast! I think that may have been the most fun I’ve had at a convention to date, though my first convention will always be near and dear to my heart for a multitude of reasons. I met some awesome people, hung out with my friends, and even managed to dance. For those of you who know, I’m not usually known for dancing, so that bit may come as a shock to people. LOL! So yeah. Fantastic time and looking forward to the next one! I didn’t manage to take many pics, though I did get a few snapshots in, due to having so much fun that I didn’t even think about pulling out my camera! Usually I’m all about the photos, but this time not so much and not regretting it either!
This last weekend, I went to the Organ Grinder’s Ball at the House of Blues in Cleveland and had a lot of fun people watching, watching the shows, talking to the vendors, and introducing a friend to the odd world that is the OGB. Watching his reactions to the shows and knowing that it was blowing his mind was almost as entertaining as everything else around me. I’m looking forward to the next OGB and hoping that more of my friends go next time.
I’ve been working on a lot of projects and have some big ones coming up. Lots of plans still, lots of projects in mind. I’m seriously considering starting up a WIP (work in progress) album on my flickr to show what I’m working on here and there. It’s also getting close to the time of planting. I have some planters and just need a few more. I have my balcony garden already (pun alert) blooming in my mind, and I’m hoping the end result will come out as good, if not better, than what I have in my head. All of these things will be documented and as I type this, my inner monologue is yelling “Document all the things!!!” Yes, I guess I’m just that weird. :p
Just before I left for FCN, I managed to finally get my prescription sunglasses. They are soo nice to finally have. No more squinting in the bright sunlight. I’ll now be able to see a lot better and with summer just around the corner, it’s perfect!
Speaking of summer, I’m looking very forward to some walks in some parks, awesome activities, adventures, and some travels. I have a few things in the works and as things become more solidified, I’ll be sure to post about them. I’m really excited about the possibilities this summer!
On that note, I’m going to end this post for now. The Kuucast will resume again sometime in the very near future now that I’m getting everything on my new computer, so keep checking back for that. Thanks to all for stopping by and reading!
I took this photo with my phone from the top of a parking garage in Cleveland after the OGB. hehe
